Do I have to have x-rays taken?

How many adjustments will I need?
Dr. Melby will discuss with you his recommendation for care and the decision will always be up to you. Think about chiropractic like orthodontics for the spine. Repeated adjustments are needed to gradually restore the normal position of the vertebrae. The number of treatments is dependent on how long you’ve had the problem, how severe the problem is, and lifestyle factors such as your diet and exercise habits. Many times, Dr. Melby will recommend treatment in phases. First, to get you out of pain. Second, to rehabilitate the spine back to its healthy state. And third, to maintain health for life.
